From Law Enforcement to Legal Advocacy: Joseph Nelms' Journey Towards Compassionate Representation
Joseph Nelms embarked on his law enforcement journey in 2003, working for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. In 2005, he continued his law enforcement career with the Paris Police Department in Lamar County. After 15 years of law enforcement experience, he earned a Master Peace Officer certificate and Bachelor’s degree before attending Tulsa College of Law where he graduated With Highest Honors with a Juris Doctorate. These experiences became foundational to Joseph’s approach to legal practice, ensuring a calm and strategic perspective even in the most challenging legal scenarios.
